Government Plans to Reduce Stake in NATS
Speculation that the Government will seek to sell down its share in the national air traffic provider NATS was today (Monday) attacked by Prospect, the union representing over 3,000 air traffic controllers, engineers and specialists. Prospect has today (Friday) voiced its concern at the profit and dividend announcement made by NATS, the UK air traffic management provider. NATS has announced record profits of £135.5m and the payment of dividends to shareholders worth £43.5m.
