Our S&S team deal in all matters relating to pay and operational grading and which affect ATCOs within NATS. These include, for example, leading pay negotiations, any changes to allowances as well as working closely with the Working Practices and Conditions of Service teams on issues such as AAVAs, LCE payments and the OJTI agreement. Non-operational units’ staff numbers and gradings, in terms of ATCOs are also dealt with as part our remit. All changes to grades or operational management structures are also dealt with centrally by the BEC through this sub-committee.
